Know before you go...

Please do not bring a furry baby that has any type of contagious skin issue, disease, or fungus...we ask you to reschedule your pet's appointment after you have received clearance from your vet. Thank you for your understanding.

If your pup is in heat please wait to schedule your appointment in two to three weeks.

All puppies and kittens MUST show proof of having received at least two sets of their baby shots.

Usually nicknamed "five or seven way" shots, most include a vaccination against distemper, adenovirus, parainfluenza, parvovirus, coronavirus, or leptospira canicola and may include Bordatella for dogs and at least rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and feline distemper for cats. These shots are usually given three separate times, at 2 week intervals by your vet.

Bordatella (Kennel Cough) is a highly contagious disease causing respiratory infection and illness. It is transmitted through the air as well as contact. 

As an International Professional Pet Groomers Association Certified Safe Salon, Fallbrook Pet Parlor always takes the utmost care in cleaning and sanitizing our parlor for your pet's health and safety as well as our own however we do recommend you vaccinate for Bordatella and follow your vet's recommendations. IPPGA holds us to yearly standards in salon sanitation and safety that others salons don't have to rise to and we are very proud of our certification. 

Most small dogs take about two hours to complete a Full Groom Service and large dogs take around three hours. We provide large kennels, water and a cozy blanket to make them feel more comfortable. We never use heat or drying kennels and your baby is always in the same room with us.

Pick Up: Please pick up your pet within 30 to 60 minutes of our "completion" phone call. Although we take good care of your furry baby, a shorter stay with fewer dogs in the salon makes for a more relaxing environment for all. We limit our occupancy to make a more pleasant environment for our furry clients. This is why pets prefer us over our corporate competition.

Need more time past your grooming session? If you would like to extend the stay for your fur baby past the recommended 30-60 minute pick-up window, we are more than happy to keep your pet for an additional cost. The cost is $20.00 for up to 4 hours and $40.00 for up to 8 hours. Why? We don't like to see our furry clients cooped up too long waiting for their pet parents and therefore we take time in our busy schedule to walk and hydrate your baby which is commonly referred to as "pet sitting" which is not complimentary. Please let us know in advance when dropping off your pet if you need this service.

Close of business late pick up fee: We hope you understand that like you, we have family and plans after we leave Fallbrook Pet Parlor. We charge $1.00 per minute for every minute you are late past close of business. If you are late past 1 hour after close of business, we will keep your pet overnight at a cost of $120.00 in addition to your pet grooming fees. You can pick up your pet at business opening the following day.
